Mr Pineapple and Mr Doughnut's musical adventure.

Pineapple Doughnut is a retrospective album written by Trevor Daly and Theo ten Brummelaar. Trevor and Theo have been co-writing songs since they were teenagers (over 40+ years). They also played in their first rock band together (Fools Kingdom) from 1979-1982. ‘Pineapple Doughnut’ is the first album of only Theo and Trevor songs.
Trevor is a songwriter, singer, bass player and guitarist based on the NSW south coast. He has played in numerous rock cover bands for over many years in Sydney and on the south coast including ‘The CriX’ and ‘Dark Beach’. He writes, records, co-produces and releases original music with other local musicians as Wasp Island.
Theo is primarily a singer and a drummer, but also dabbles in guitar, bass and keyboards. Like Trevor, he has been in numerous cover bands along with his wife Sallie Cruise over the years primarily in Los Angeles where they lived for 25 years. These included Dangerous Aliens. and One Olive Martini.. Later Sallie and Theo along with Kaspar von Braun formed Cruise Control which started off playing covers but eventually wrote their own material.
The songs on this Pineapple Doughnut album were recorded using a broad range of equipment from 16 track analogue tape to modern DAWs like Studio Logic. We have used some modern technical jiggery pokery to tart up some of the older ones but wanted to keep as much of the original music as possible. There are many musicians on the various songs and all of this and more is explained in as much detail as you could hope for in the song link above.
